Très certainement le mur que j’ai préféré dans Reykjavík… Pour le mouvement, pour les bubbles letters qui viennent grignoter l’œuvre sans la défigurer, pour avoir laissé les défauts du mur faire partie intégrante de la toile… Pour la légèreté, pour la lévitation,… pour son côté graphite / Noir & Blanc,… Réalisée par l’artiste Norvégien @andersgjennestad en 2016 toujours dans le cadre du festival Wall Poetry; cette œuvre s’inspire de la chanson « Pray for Air in the Water » du groupe islandais Mammút.
Je ne sais pas qui est cet enfant, ni même si c est vraiment un enfant. Je n’a aucune idée de qui l’a peint après des recherches poussées… il est bien caché dans une petit ruelle de Reykjavík et son regard est saisissant… Une œuvre anonyme comme beaucoup de pièces posées à la volée de façon illégale dans le grand monde de l’art urbain…
À quelques foulées du Port de Reyjkavik; là où sont rénovés des monstres d’acier qui affrontent une mer arctique dangereuse; l’artiste Islandais @mottandi rend hommage aux anciens bateaux en bois qui historiquement remplissaient le port… Cet artiste a peint avec un style très figuratif le patrimoine de l’île sur un grand nombre de murs dans la capitale mais également dans les villages reculés … Un peu plus loin on retrouve une œuvre de @juan_arctic sur le mur d’un restaurant qui surplombe le chantier naval…
Parfois un joli petit graffiti cache quelque chose de beaucoup beaucoup plus grandiose !!! Ce petit “character” dissimulé sous un pont a des allures d’Iceberg, vous ne trouvez pas ?
