Mais ce n\u2019est pas ce qu\u2019ont pens\u00e9 les autorit\u00e9s de New York et du New Jersey en 2018 lorsqu\u2019elles ont demand\u00e9 \u00e0 Silverstein, propri\u00e9taire du WTC, d\u2019animer la derni\u00e8re zone de construction active du quartier. Plus de 2000 m<sup>2<\/sup> de t\u00f4le ondul\u00e9e ont ainsi \u00e9t\u00e9 peints pour redonner vie et couleur \u00e0 ce quartier en pleine mutation.<\/p>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4><strong>Des fresques monumentales aux couleurs acidul\u00e9es masquent int\u00e9gralement la <\/strong><strong>zone\u00a0!<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Je vous accompagne faire un petit tour de cette gigantesque installation m\u00e9tallique qui cache avec panache une zone de travaux et des locaux techniques qui devaient auparavant \u00eatre peu agr\u00e9ables \u00e0 voir. Ma visite commence par le mur qui rencontre le plus de succ\u00e8s ; et ce n\u2019est en rien un hasard ! Comme le dit lui-m\u00eame l\u2019artiste Am\u00e9ricain qui a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 celui-ci, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/toddgray_studios\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Todd Gray\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>: il \u00e9chantillonne ce que les grands artistes du Pop Art comme Andy Warhol ou encore Roy Lichtenstein ont cr\u00e9\u00e9 auparavant. Cette fresque rend hommage \u00e0 l\u2019imaginaire infantile et marie super h\u00e9ros, jeux vid\u00e9os, cyclopes et motifs floraux. Je ne sais pas ce que cela donne vraiment en photo ; mais on en prend vraiment plein les yeux ! Pour lui ; son mur repr\u00e9sente Amour, Paix et Unit\u00e9. Une fa\u00e7on aussi de regarder vers le futur. Aussi qu\u2019elle n\u2019a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 ma surprise de d\u00e9couvrir, enfin l\u2019\u0153uvre d\u2019un pionnier du Street Art New yorkais ; <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/hektad._official\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hektad<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0! D\u00e8s ses 12 ans en 1982, ce pionner natif du Bronx maniait la bombe sur tous les murs de la ville. Apr\u00e8s une pause dans sa carri\u00e8re il est revenu en force en 2013 et n\u2019a de cesse de distiller de la couleur et des c\u0153urs sur les murs de New York ! Elle est donc int\u00e9gralement entour\u00e9e de ces fameux plots en b\u00e9ton afin d\u2019\u00e9viter toute attaque \u00e0 la voiture b\u00e9lier\u00a0! Les artistes qui n\u2019\u00e9taient pas int\u00e9gr\u00e9s dans le projet des fresques monumentales sont donc venus apposer leurs \u0153uvres sur ces horribles plots.<\/p>\n<p>Parmi les artistes on retrouve les messages positifs d\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/ajlavilla\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Ajlavilla<\/strong><\/a>, Philippin qui vit d\u00e9sormais dans le Queens. Ses messages sont \u00e0 destination des jeunes g\u00e9n\u00e9rations et des enfants et les invitent \u00e0 poursuivre leurs r\u00eaves sans jamais rien l\u00e2cher. Il a recouvert une grande partie des plots de ses messages color\u00e9s : \u00ab R\u00eavez grand \u00bb \u00ab Faites de l\u2019Art \u00bb ou encore \u00ab Ne laissez jamais tomber \u00bb. A l\u2019\u00e9poque il n\u2019y avait pas de Street Art et le M\u00e9morial \u00e9tant extr\u00eamement \u00e9pur\u00e9 et puissant\u00a0; l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re \u00e9tait \u00e0 glacer le sang. Non, l\u2019arriv\u00e9e du Street Art n\u2019a pas r\u00e9volutionn\u00e9 le lieu, absolument pas. Le m\u00e9morial avec son trou b\u00e9ant est toujours aussi oppressant; mais j\u2019avoue qu\u2019apr\u00e8s le recueillement un peu de couleur et de vie font beaucoup de bien. Il semblerait que les New-Yorkais appr\u00e9cient aussi que la vie ait repris son cours sans que l\u2019on oublie pour autant les victimes et leurs familles.
